~Adi Patel - Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library “I like coming to the library; it's nice and quiet. The social worker really helped me by finding a place to go to take my mind off of my current situation living at the homeless shelter. She sent me to the Council on Aging; while there, I have met nice people to talk to. They have exercise equipment for me to work out on; being ex-military, I like to stay in shape and work out. The social worker is helping me to get some clothes and that's something that I really need.”

"My favorite service is the interlibrary service where I can request books from other libraries. I also enjoy all the activities available to children and teens and frequently bring my grandchildren. Our library has so many great services and resources available I need a lot more room to explain. My favorite library. "

“I enjoy stopping by sometimes. I read the newspaper. I like to keep a check on the new release books. Sometimes I need a quiet place to unwind. I also browse magazines for new recipes.”
~ Betty Jo Gray - Maysville Public Library “The Summer Reading Program was a definite hit with my grandchildren. It not only encouraged them to read more, but it had such fun activities for them to complete. I also find some current books available in large print for me. The selection is very good for this small library. Jessica, the librarian, does so many craft activities such as 3D printing, dioramas, stuffed snowmen at Christmas, etc.”
~ Deborah Blizard - Maysville Public Library “I love the programs for kids. They help my little one learn how to work with other kids and learn different things with the STEMology programs.”

~ J. Hall - Greene County Public Library “I was helped by the Social Worker with finding information about support for my husband who was recently diagnosed with dementia. Ms. Joyce emailed me flyers with information about dementia and support for me and my family. She connected me with a dementia support group through the Lenoir County Council on Aging. The information she gave me was really helpful.”

“Story time at the library is something my grandchildren look forward to every week! They have learned to sit and listen, follow directions, colors, letters, numbers, and counting! Tuesday's are their favorite day! They also enjoy all the wonderful activities to do before story time. Varin does a wonderful job!”
